Designed for children in JK to Grade 2 enrolled in French immersion, full French schools or simply interested in learning French. Our sessions provide a fun and engaging space for children to grow comfortable expressing themselves in French beyond the classroom.

No French fluency required. All French levels are welcome.

What is La Ronde Oakville?

La Ronde Oakville is a French language club for children in JK to Grade 2 who attend French immersion programs, full French schools, or are simply curious and enthusiastic about learning French.

Our environment is inclusive, welcoming, and designed to help children build confidence as they explore and improve their French outside of school in a fun and convivial setting.

La Ronde Oakville is also a space for parents and guardians to network, connect, and share their experience raising children learning French in Ontario. Whether they speak French themselves or not, all families are welcome.

Sessions take place twice a month on Saturday afternoons at St. Aidan in downtown Oakville. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes, with one parent or guardian remaining to attend the session as well.

OUR PROGRAM

We meet twice a month on Saturday afternoons in downtown Oakville at St. Aidan on Queen Mary Drive.

Registration for our Fall 2026 session is now open (September to December 2026).

Spots are intentionally limited to create a more immersive experience, giving each child the opportunity to participate, express themselves in French, and build confidence.

I am a proud mom of two daughters who attend a local full French school in Oakville. As a native French speaker and graduate of a French university in Paris, I have seen firsthand how important it is for children in our community to have meaningful opportunities to use French beyond the classroom.

I founded La Ronde Oakville to create a joyful space where children can speak everyday French through stories, songs, conversations, games and interactive activities. When children are having fun, they often do not realize they are practising, learning, and building confidence.

La Ronde Oakville is also a welcoming place for parents and guardians, whether they speak French or not, to connect with other families and support their children's French-learning journey.
